• What kind of materials do you use?

  We use a one-of-a-kind liquid enamel called “Liquid Tub Liner”

• Is there a toxic odor? Is it safe for children?

  Completely safe. We use “Liquid Tub Liner”, which doesn’t have any toxic smell or fumes either during work or afterward. It has been approved to be used in any high-rise building, homes for the elderly, care homes.

• Do you offer warranty?

  Yes, we proudly offer a 5-year residential warranty and a 3-year commercial warranty.

• How much time will refinishing the bathtub take?

  The work takes about 3-4 hours to complete, after that the coating will take about 24 hours to harden.

• What makes “WVH Bathtub Refinishing” different from other companies?

  We only use safe chemicals, we do not use sprays or toxic paints. We install a thick durable coating that levels the surface and makes the surface of the tub more durable.

• How to prepare the bathroom for tub renovation?

  Put away your personal belongings and remove shower curtains. Do not schedule any work that can create dust for the same day.

• Can I use the bathtub before you arrive?

  Yes, there is no need to clean and dry the tub before we arrive.

• Do you change or replace any plumbing fixtures?

  Our workers are not plumbers and are not licensed to carry out plumbing work. If you have a leaking faucet or other issues, it’s best to first contact a licensed plumber, and then have us resurface the tub, shower tray, or sink.

• My bathroom is under renovation, at which point should I restore the tub?

  Postpone refinishing the bathtub until the last moment so there is no risk of damage to the surface. We will cover up the new walls and flooring so the paint doesn’t get on them.

• Do you need to come to my house to do an estimate?

  There is no need in most cases. It’s enough to discuss your situation and answer a few questions over the phone. You can also send photos via email or messenger.

• How much can I save on bath refinish services versus complete tub replacement?

  The price of a new bathtub can range from $1,000 to $3,000. A bathtub restoration costs $450. Ordering bathtub refinishing can save you 75-85% of buying a new bathtub. If in order to save money, you opt to buy the cheapest new bathtub available, you will still pay more for it, and in about 3 years you will still have to either buy a new tub or restore the old one, further increasing the cost. Lastly, there are additional costs for dismantling and installation.

• Will it be noticeable that the bathtub has been painted over?

  No, it will be almost impossible to distinguish. Your old bathtub will shine like new. We guarantee clean white color and smooth surface.
