How bathtub restoration works:

1. The surface of your bathtub is thoroughly washed and sanded, and if there is rust or any detachments, they are removed so that the surface will be smooth and even.
2. Chips and even deep cracks are sealed with a special composition of fiberglass and epoxy resin, let dry and then sanded.
3. Allowed to dry and degrease thoroughly.
4. We protect the floor, walls, as well as taps, faucets and drains from paint.
5. We apply non-toxic paint to the surface of the entire bathtub and smooth it out.
6. Let the bathtub dry for 24 hours so that the coating can fully set or cure.

One day after the reglaze work is performed; you can safely use your new bathroom.

Cast iron bathtub refurbishment

Products made of high-quality cast iron last for decades, but the factory enamel is not as durable. Yet, there is no reason to replace the whole bathtub just because of the enamel, even if it already has indelible rusted red streaks, deep cracks, and traces of corrosion.

You may have seen prices of $250 for a similar service, but they commonly employ spray paint. This method may be common but it produces a thin coat that is not impact resistant. Simply dropping a bottle of shampoo or shower gel may cause such coating to begin to peel. Paint will begin to peel wherever soap and water accumulate, such as near the bathtub drain. Imagine how such a painted coating would deteriorate in just one year!

Now let's do the math: you pay $250, and then a year later you have to pay $250 again to repair the peeling surface. Our pouring method is completely different, lasts 10-15 years, and as already noted, there are no toxic fumes or smells. The layer is 10 times thicker than normal spray.
